IPE, a member of the Ipeco Group, was founded in 1961 and has over 30 years experience of manufacturing for the European defence, electronics and aerospace industries. Operating from a 75,000 square foot purpose built factory in Southend and a 5,000 square foot brazing facility close by.
The Southend plant is equipped with a range of high quality, modern machine tools. This is supported through the application of advanced systems, including data transfer CAD/CAM, integrated production and stock control computer systems, including capacity planning.

IPE manufactures a wide range of products, which include complex machined components, fabricated sheet metal assemblies, and a variety of intricate salt bath brazed products, ranging from wave-guides through to electronic enclosures and structural parts.
The Company also offers full development facilities covering design, test and pre-production manufacture, and project management. In addition a number of new programmes have been developed on a private venture basis.
IPE are BS EN ISO 9001 1994 Approved.
